Booking Your Tattoo
I look for projects that allow freedom of design and body placement, rather than having strict requirements. I prefer projects that require little or no cover-up work at all. Most of my work is based on realistic portraiture, and as such, I do not accept requests for full figure designs unless it is on a large scale.
I prefer projects that are horror/surreal themes and photorealism portraits of people or animals. My priority is creating designs with strong readability from a distance.
Please provide an image of the area you plan on getting tattooed (have someone else take the photo for you).
Consultations
Not all projects will require an in-person consultation. If a consultation is needed, I will let you know, and we can set up a date and time to meet at Hollow Earth or video chat. If you do not have an in-person consultation, I will send an invoice to your email for the deposit. I require a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT to secure your appointment date and time.
Tattoo Design
I will present your design on the day of your appointment. Minor changes to the design can be done on the spot, but any major changes or complete change of idea on the design can result in a forfeit of deposit for that day’s appointment. If you wish to see your design ahead of time but can’t come to the shop in person, we can do a video chat (I generally do this for larger designs or people traveling from out of state). I will not have your design ready until the week of the appointment and I do not send the design over via text or email.
Large Projects
If you’ve reached out for a large tattoo project and it has been accepted, I will book an initial 1-2 sessions to start the project. Additional sessions will be booked after the first 1-2 are completed until the project is finished.
Large tattoo projects will require multiple sessions to finish. As such, I cannot guarantee an exact estimate for a multi-session project. All estimates are my best guess but are subject to my hourly rate.
Tattoo Pricing & Deposit
*I charge $200 hourly with a minimum of $200
Full Day – $1600 (8 hours)
Deposits come off the cost of the tattoo that is booked.
YOUR DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE TIME I SEND THE INVOICE TO SECURE YOUR APPOINTMENT DATE.
DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE
I accept all forms of payment except checks and money orders.
An 8% sales tax for the city of Columbus will be added to all transactions.
Rescheduling
A 72-hour notice is needed to reschedule your tattoo appointment. Anything less than a 72-hour notice (barring an emergency) will require a new booking fee or deposit. I only accept one reschedule per booked appointment. Any further attempts to reschedule with complete lack of consideration of my time will result in your project being dropped.
If Your Project Was Not Chosen
If I do not accept your request, it is likely either outside of my artistic style, or not something I am focusing on during this booking period. I would be happy to make a referral and answer any further questions you may have. If I am unable to take on your project, we have other talented artists at Hollow Earth who may be better suited to take on your project.
