If I decide not to take on your project at this time, please consider checking out the other talented artists at Hollow Earth.

Please wait up to a week after submitting your request, as I am often busy with lots of emails and it may take time to get to yours. If you have not heard back from me after a week, please send me an email at <vargotattoo@gmail.com> instead of submitting another form.

I charge $200 hourly on a timer that I time during your tattoo. I don’t charge for breaks or prep time. I only charge this rate during the actual tattoo process itself. For quoting tattoo cost, I can show examples of work I’ve done in the past to give an idea of cost and how I priced that specific tattoo, but the tattoo cost itself is based on what was timed during our session.

Tattoo arm sleeves, leg sleeves, full backpiece, etc. All take multiple sessions to finish and take a lot of hours to complete.
I only book clients who are patient with the process and are financially stable to do multiple sessions to finish a large tattoo project.
I don’t know an exact number of sessions to finish the tattoo. I only book two sessions at a time for clients getting large projects. After the second session is finished, I have a better understanding of how long our tattoo sessions should be from how you handle tattoo pain and allows me to understand what a comfortable budget for you to spend for each appointment to help break up the cost for the tattoo.
Before booking your project. I can show examples of large projects I have done in the past to help you understand more of how that project was broken up into sessions and how many hours that project took to finish.

If you are traveling from out of state or getting a large tattoo project, I can show you your design on a video call or at the studio the week of your appointment. If you request any major changes or complete subject change in the overall design, please be advised that I may need to reschedule your appointment and will take another deposit for that appointment date if doing so.
-
Out of consideration for the other artists in the space, I request that you bring no more than one guest. Do not bring your child if they will have a hard time sitting quietly for several hours.
-
For large projects, I try to keep my sessions around 6 hours or less and no longer than 8 hours. I do offer back-to-back sessions for large projects.
-
Make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before, eat a big meal the morning of your appointment, bring snacks and water, and avoid heavy workouts and alcohol before your appointment. Most importantly, stay hydrated!
-
Please reach out to me to reschedule at the earliest sign of sickness. I give one free reschedule for illness and injury. If you try to come to your appointment while sick, you risk infecting me and the other artists, as well as having a more difficult time sitting for the tattoo due to poor body condition. DO NOT COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT FEELING SICK
-
Please text me on Square messaging through your appointment reminder or by email. If you no-call/no-show on the day of your appointment, you will be asked to pay another deposit to reschedule and risk being dropped for future projects.
-
Please purchase travel insurance if you’re flying from out of state, just in case something urgent comes up and we have to reschedule. Please also make preparations for accommodations as needed.

If your tattoo is something I can cover, I will need complete artistic freedom to make sure I can cover it to the best of my abilities. All cover-up projects will take at least two sessions, to ensure the settled tattoo will still cover the old tattoo. Please be aware that color tattoos will likely require a color tattoo to cover it.
